There will be one new edition of the Fellowship each year, with various asynchronous events
throughout the year plus an in-person annual residency taking place every autumn around
October. There shall be 10 Fellows each year. Each Fellowship year will run for eight months
of any calendar year. Fellows will forever have access to all asynchronous events.
The Fellowship operates across concrete thematic areas inspired by Farah Pahlavi’s legacy:
Women Empowerment
To empower and uplift women worldwide by promoting their active participation in
entrepreneurship, education, sports, leadership, and civic engagement. The aim is to
enable women to become change agents in their communities and sectors, bridge gender
gaps in education, economic participation, leadership and society, and foster resilience,
confidence, and agency in women across diverse contexts. The aim is to o9er an
empowerment tool for women to lead in tackling humanity’s most significant challenges.
Arts and Culture
To promote and preserve the richness of Iranian arts, culture, and history while elevating
it to a global stage, fostering cross-dialogue, understanding, and appreciation among
diverse audiences. The work in this thematic area aims to foster a deeper appreciation of
Iranian heritage worldwide, create opportunities for cultural exchange and cross-
dialogue, bridge divides and promote understanding, and protect and elevate Iranian
culture for future generations.
