The IHMT NOVA and the Farah Pahlavi Foundation signed a partnership agreement
that reinforces the convergence of their missions in promoting education, science, and
cultural appreciation, joining efforts to support the development of young people —
particularly women living in vulnerable contexts — and to expand opportunities for
training and academic participation.

The protocol was signed by the Director of IHMT NOVA, Professor Doctor Filomeno
Fortes, and by the Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, Bruno Ferreira.
The session was also attended by all members of the IHMT NOVA Management Board,
representatives of the FSFP, and several representatives of the institutional community
involved in the project.

Professor Doctor Miguel Viveiros emphasized the importance of this collaboration for
creating institutional value, highlighting the opportunity it represents to strengthen the
education of young people and to deepen IHMT NOVA’s commitment to promoting
equity and scientific development.

Within this framework, the agreement includes the creation of a mentorship program
aimed at supporting the academic and professional paths of IHMT NOVA students, as
well as the provision of a space within the Institute to host and, in the future, enable the
exhibition of elements from the Foundation’s cultural collection, thereby strengthening
the connection between science, culture, and community.
