Reflections and Anecdotes

The Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi Foundation invites people of all nationalities and backgrounds to share their experiences and reflections connected to Iran and its people. We welcome a broad range of perspectives: memories of joy or loss, accounts of everyday life, family stories, journeys, and thoughts on belonging and change.

You may contribute a short written piece, a photograph with a caption, or an audio recollection—including a conversation with a parent or grandparent. Personal stories and opinion pieces are also welcome.

Please submit in the language in which you can tell your story best. Selected contributions may be translated for publication if not in English, Persian or Portuguese . 

​

You may ask to be credited under a pseudonym. Complementary materials, including photographs or recordings may be submitted, used and preserved. 

​

Selected contributions will appear on this website and may also be featured in the Foundation’s newsletter.
