Programme Features:

Annual In-person Residency:

  • Participate in tailored workshops and skill-building trainings.

  • Take part in an immersive, hands-on programme to reflect on their initiatives.

  • Dive deep into new frameworks to reflect on their leadership journey.

  • Access to new cultural and cross-dialogue experiences.

The Foundation will host an annual event linked to the annual in-person residency in the fourth quarter of each year. This event will be in the presence of Her Majesty.

The event will bring media partners to serve as an opportunity to amplify the outreach of the Foundation. The annual in-person gathering will also be an opportunity to collect content from participants (interviews, videos, testimonials) that will live through the year.

Asynchronous Events throughout the Year:

1. Online Workshops and Skill-building Sessions

Format: Live interactive sessions featuring experts and thought leaders’ practical experiences.

Goal: To build confidence and equip Fellows with practical skills and knowledge on relevant topics that will positively impact their ability to drive social change across their sectors. Workshops develop the skills, qualities, and abilities needed for impact leadership.

Content: Leadership and decision-making, storytelling for impact, policy advocacy, public engagement, media training, personal branding and fundraising.

2. Fellowship Newsletter

Format: Engaging, easy-to-read digital newsletter with visuals, testimonials, and opportunities.

Goal: To create engagement and keep Fellows informed while fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose within the Fellowship.

Content: Spotlight on Fellows' achievements and projects, funding and collaboration opportunities, upcoming events and learning resources, insights from guest contributors and fellowship updates and community highlights.

3. Webinar with Selected Fellows | Podcast Series 

Format: Fellows share their experiences across institutions. Live webinar featuring 2-3 selected fellows per session.

Goal: Inspire others, provide opportunities for collaboration through live interactions and networking and celebrate the work and achievements of Fellows on a global stage, increasing visibility and recognition for their initiatives.

Content: Fellows present their initiatives, challenges, achievements, and impact. Interactive Q&A session; potential collaborations and help requests.

4. Online Community Check-ins with Fellows

Format: Informal virtual gatherings focused on personal and professional balance and well-being.

Goal: To prioritise the well-being of Fellows by offering a space for sharing and stress management strategies and to foster peer support through shared experiences.

Content: Managing stress and burnout, work-life balance for leaders, resilience and mental health strategies, complemented by a sharing moment for personal experiences and peer support.

5. Mentorship | Peer-to-Peer and Leaders and Practitioners

Format: One-to-one mentorship pairings between Fellows based on shared interests and goals, with a monthly online meeting encouraged. After the second year of the Fellowship, new Fellows should be matched with experienced participants.

Goal: To provide Fellows with an opportunity to live a shared experience by exchanging their opinions, experiences, and advice within the Fellowship community, fostering a sense of connection and mutual support. Facilitate knowledge exchange to support career growth and navigating challenges. Provide essential cohort connections and collaborative learning opportunities. Connect with leaders and practitioners who offer guidance, expertise, and support. 

Content: Experience in the Fellowship, career growth and professional development, navigating challenges in leadership roles and building networks and cross-sector partnerships.

6. Local Events in Geographical Areas where Fellows are based

Format: Ad hoc in-person events for networking, discussions, workshops or public talks.

Goal: To strengthen Fellows' community engagement, build stronger local networks, and create regional hubs for Fellows to connect, collaborate, and leverage local resources.

7. Social Media and PR Campaigns

Format: Posts, publications, videos and interviews on channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and other media channels such as newspapers, podcasts, magazines and online publications.

Goal: To increase visibility and raise the profile of individual Fellows and the Fellowship, creating broader awareness and credibility, engaging new supporters, and networking opportunities. 

Content: Presenting the Fellowship, announcing the Fellows, benefits of being a Fellow, Fellow spotlights, behind-the-scenes of Fellows’ initiatives, live takeovers by Fellows showcasing their daily work, and unique themed campaigns.

8. Launch of the Annual Voices of Farah Pahlavi Fellows Booklet featuring Fellows’ Insights 

Anthology or podcasts/profiles. Website archive would be the digital resource.

Monetary Incentive: The Fellowship covers travel, accommodation and meal expenses for the in-person residency week and on a case by case basis provides nominal financial support or a stipend for its Fellows.
